To facilitate learning, our school provides a number of Classrooms, Laboratories and Special rooms with Wi-Fi System such as Computer Rooms, Multi-Media Learning Centre, Meditation Room, English Learning Centre, STEM Room, Campus TV, Gymnasium, Shooting range, Home Economics Room 2 and Counselling Activity Room for students. All the rooms are equipped with computer, visualizer, LCD projector, screen and air-conditioning.

Whole-school Language Policy:
1. The school implements mother-tongue teaching and focuses on biliteracy and trilingualism to nurture students’ language proficiency.
2. Optimization of school-based English courses and teaching materials to enhance teaching effectiveness.
3. Organization of English Days, English Debate Workshops, Daily News and Lunchtime English Tea Gathering to create a well-rounded English learning environment and encourage students to communicate in English.
4. Implementation of “Extended English Activity” for cross-curricular learning in chosen subjects to enhance learning effectiveness.

Learning and Teaching Strategies:
1. The curriculum design is student-centered and focuses on balanced and comprehensive development of students.
2. Hire additional teachers and teaching assistants to enhance interaction between teachers and students and cater for students’ learning diversities.
3. Teaching of Chinese, English, and Mathematics are conducted in groups according to the abilities of students to promote adaptive teaching. Curriculum and teaching materials are tailor-made according to the abilities of students which cater for students with different abilities and learning styles.
4. Use assessment data to assess students’ academic abilities continuously, adjust teaching strategies to enhance learning and teaching effectiveness.
5. Provide diversified after-school support programs to students, such as enrichment classes for core subjects, homework tutorial classes, advanced academic English classes, group learning classes and academic performance improvement classes.

School-based curriculum:
1. Electives: 2X and 3X. 11 electives, additional electives under Taipo Joint-school programme ; applied learning courses.
2. Curriculum highlights: (1) English programmes are organized for S1-S3 students to build up their personal English word bank.
(2) Coding is introduced in junior Computer Edu; STEM is added in Sci and D & T. (3) Social and Emotional Learning programme is introduced in S4 to integrate positive psychology and growth mindset to promote students' physical and mental health. (4) Setting up of S5 STEM, Sports and Arts curriculum to cultivate students’ generic skills. (5) Widen students’ exposures and horizons through organizing extended learning experiences like field trips, exchange studies and volunteering trainings.

Development of the Four Key Tasks:
1. For moral and civic education, in addition to strengthening values education through Buddhist education, diverse activities are held to cultivate students’ quality such as respect for others and committment. 2. There is a reading section per week to encourage students to read across the curriculum, allowing students to integrate knowledge from various subjects to stimulate their interest in reading; English reading materials are added regularly to cultivate students’ reading habits. The library cooperates with different subjects to organize book fairs and various activities to broaden the scope of reading for students. The novel course on personal growth is added to the Chi subject in junior secondary, which allows students to learn from reading. 3. Interdisciplinary project study is conducted in S1 &S2 to give full play to the spirit of students’ self-learning, allowing students to develop generic skills and build higher-ordered thinking.
4. Through Learning Management System, e-learning activities with innovative teaching strategies allow students to conduct self-directed learning. Campus TV is set up for students to prepare and shoot films. Students’ generic skills can be enhanced through helping teachers produce quality teaching videos.

Life Planning Education:
1. Establishment of a school-based career planning curriculum to allow students to have a systematic understanding of character traits.
2. Participation in “CLAP@JC” – “Hong Kong Benchmarks for Career and Life Development” to optimize the school’s life planning education development, allowing students to explore their strengths and qualities, develop life aspirations, explore the possibilities of different career development, and establish their own future direction.
3. Through various workshops and activities, students have a better understanding of qualification system, progression ladder and multiple pathways.
4. Through the work shadow programme, high school students can gain experience in different industries, understand the future development of all walks of life, learn practical skills, problem-solving and collaborative skills.
5. Through individual or group counseling, S3 students are provided with DSE subject selection information, applied learning courses and other pathways to further studies, which cater to the needs of different students for further studies and employment.
6. Through participating in the “Life Buddies” mentorship program, students develop a vision for the future through the guidance of mentors.
7. Focus on students’ career planning, encourage students to become career planning ambassadors to practise what they have learned.

Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity:
1. Core subjects like Chi, Eng and Math are taught in small groups to cater for students’ learning diversities. 2. Each subject will stipulate the difficulty ratio of test papers to complement with the evaluation of learning enhancement, follow up the student’s learning process, supplemented by appropriate teaching strategies and learning materials to enhance students’ learning. 3. Guidance and Discipline Team runs “Yes We Can”, which promotes students’ active participation in various activities to cultivate students’ growth. 4. Fully utilise the e-learning platform to allow students to conduct self-assessment and peer-to-peer collaborative learning to extend what they have learned. 5. Provide training for gifted students and recommend them to gifted education programs run by different institutions to explore their potential.

Whole School Approach to Integrated Education:
1. Learning Support Team includes members of SEN coordinator, supporting teachers, social workers to school-based educational psychologist; support direction includes L&T, student growth, etc. 2. For L&T, “Group Education Plan” designs appropriate courses based on the principle of “one step at a time” and encourages peers to form learning circles. In addition, in order to train students to learn proactively, there are homework classes to support students in all aspects and strengthen their learning foundation. 3. For student growth, lunchtime and after-school activities are run to enhance students’ social skills. In addition, in cooperation with Career Life Planning Team, we provide students with career orientation courses and communication skills training, so that students can plan their future directions. 4. For home-school cooperation, Learning Support Team arranges meetings with parents regularly and follows up students’ cases, provides parents with Student Support Summary to let parents understand the students’ learning progress. 5. For teacher’s professional development, we invite school-based professionals to provide training for teachers and share their expertise on students’ learning and personal growth. Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos

Home-School Co-operation:
1. Home visits are organized to enhance the understanding of parents and students, foster closer relationship between teachers and students and enhance the cooperation between school and home.
2. Home-school cooperation has been harmonious throughout the years. Parent Teacher Association (PTA) will actively organize social activities, such as Chinese painting classes, calligraphy, interest groups and participate in school volunteer services to strengthen parent-child and home-school exchanges.
3. Collaborated with NGOs and other organizations to organize seminars, talks and workshops for parents and teachers to provide support in enhancing knowledge in parenting and communication skills.
4. Two publications are published every year to strengthen linkage among stakeholders.

1. Setting up of various interest clubs, like Shooting, Drama, Chinese Brush Painting, Ukulele, and Innovative Science Club, to cater to and to develop a variety of interests conducive to all-round development of different students.

Organisation of multiple school sports teams, such as Track and Field, Volleyball, Basketball and Snooker Team, and recruitment of student ambassadors to allow students to fully realise their potential and develop crucial values, for example perseverance and diligence through continuous sports training.

1. The school has set up various scholarship programs to commend students with outstanding achievements or progress in academic, moral, sports and service aspects.
2. Setting up of BTKCHC scholarship to praise with excellent academic performance and encourage students to study hard and pursue excellence.
3. A foreign exchange program is set up for our students. Those who successfully apply can receive half of the subsidy to go to the United States for one year of high school or full subsidy for summer short-term American exchange activities. Through this program, students can experience American culture and life first-hand, at the same time they can also learn English from daily life, strengthen communication skills with others and cultivate independent and mature personalities, which are all beneficial to future growth or further education.
