Standard classrooms and special rooms are equipped with modern IT and AV teaching aids. Over 300 networked computers, advanced equipped computer rooms, web-based self-access learning platforms for English Language and Mathematics, multi-media learning centre, Geographical innovation and technology room, networked library and English Corner are established. There are multi-purpose ball-game courts, rock climbing walls, gymnasiums and an integrated art performing centre. There is air-conditioning in each classroom, special room and the school hall. Whole-school Language Policy:
The medium of instruction in junior form is Chinese. A rich English learning environment is provided to enhance students’ English proficiency like English musical drama, English activities days, study tour and cultural exchange with overseas school, programmes offered by US Consulate General to broaden students’ exposure. The school organizes a variety of English bridging programs and fun activities to equip students for further studies in English medium.
Learning and Teaching Strategies:
We cultivate the generic skills of students through school based curriculum of Chinese, English, Mathematics, Humanities, and Science & Technology subjects. We introduce Moral & Civic Education curriculum for value education. We develop talents in Sports, Music & Visual Arts through taste of wide range of interesting themes, training, exhibitions, performances and competitions. We introduce English Musical in English and Music curriculum and enrichment through public performance. We actively participate in different projects with Universities, EDB and NGO to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning. We also introduce cross curriculum and overseas field visits for cultural exchange, language training and global experiences.

Development of the Four Key Tasks:
1. Reading to Learn: In order to establish good reading habit, morning reading session in the first lesson and teachers and students read books together. Prominent writers, parents, teachers and students are invited to share reflection of their reading. Reading Week is organized and for promotion of reading atmosphere. Students are encouraged to read further for areas and subjects of interests. Students are asked to develop their own reading portfolio and writing reading journals. Reading Award Scheme is established to motivate students to read more. We also provide an e-learning platform to build up an e-learning atmosphere.
2. Information Technology for Interactive Learning: With the help of the advanced technology, teachers and students can teach and learn more effectively inside and outside classrooms. The newly equipped technical tools include Global Information Management System, Electronic Map, Weather Forecasting tools, Electronic Drawing kit, Art Design, Electronic Music Composer, Web-Blogs of different subjects, Interactive Self-Learning Platform of Chinese, English and Mathematics, E-Reading Platform, VR, Electronic Whiteboard etc.
3. Project Learning: While different subjects can arrange activities such as field trip based on the learning themes, their self-learning habits and skills can be developed.
