Learning and Teaching Plan
Whole-school Language Policy:
In lower forms, our school adopts Chinese as a medium of instruction (please refer to the "Subjects Offered in the 2022/23 School Year" and "Subjects to be Offered in the 2023/24 School Year" for details) and Putonghua lessons are given across these three years. For lower forms, students are streamed into different English groups according to their abilities. For upper forms, Chinese, English and Liberal Studies are also taught in small group size. NSS students can opt for some electives taught in English. Our school highly concerns about the language development of Chinese, English and Putonghua. We will foster a whole school language rich environment. Students are going to learn English and Putonghua effectively in daily campus life through different ways.
Learning and Teaching Strategies:
Effective learning & interactive teaching is emphasized. Promote students' learning motivation & interests; encourage students to develop ' self-regualted learning habit and skills, individual thinking competency, cultivate generic skills & self-learning ability; encourage reading culture & project learning. Student Centred, learning with diversity, promote learning interest, are the main ideas of subject design. Each subject is organized according to students' need.

Development of the Four Key Tasks:
Learning through reading: our school library collaborates with other subjects in order to promote learning. There are a variety of enriching and interactive reading activities such as reading sharing sessions, seminars given by famous writers, reading lessons, book exhibitions and promotions of newly released books etc. Using information technology to promote interactive learning: specialized groups are responsible for encouraging teachers to utilize the online resources centres, Internet forums and some educational websites. Teachers are recommended to take part in the courses offered by the Hong Kong Education City websites. All of the classrooms in our school are computerized. Our teachers always encourage students to use online resources and learning forums. Besides, the learning process is fully recorded. Project-based learning: Life and Society is introduced in the junior forms curriculum. Our school aims at training students to use project-based learning to develop and improve their critical thinking skills beginning from S.1. A step-by-step learning approach is adopted in the learning process. Moral and Civic Education: the vision of our school is to educate students through the teaching of Christianity. Our teachers nurture our students morally and civically under the spirit of Christianity. Apart from taking part in Civic Education lessons, all students are required to participate in the social services or charitable activities before graduation.

Student Support
Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity:
With spirit of Christ, a whole school approach is adopted to cater for learning diversity of students, including variety of teaching strategies and ways of assessments, different types of extra-curricular activities and subjects of senior forms.
Whole School Approach to Integrated Education:
In order to promote Whole School Approach to Integrated Education, by EDB grants, we buy professional services and recruit a project responsible staff to help the SENCO in organizing various supporting measures, include teaching and assessment moderation, counselling group, social and attention training group and Individual education plan etc. We also set up regular communicative channels with parents for discussing how to cater for their children to learn optimally.
Our school was provided with additional funding by the Education Bureau. With reference to school-based circumstances, we provided support for our NCS students and assigned a dedicated team to coordinate relating matters. Support details included providing in-class support in Chinese Language lessons (e.g. Pull-out learning), adopting a school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapted learning and teaching materials and providing after-school support (e.g. Chinese learning group). Our school’s measures for creating an inclusive learning environment included organizing activities which promote cultural integration.

Home-School Co-operation and School Ethos
Home-School Co-operation:
The Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) of our school was established many years ago. All of the members of the PTA are extremely supportive and are always willing to take part in the school functions. Besides organizing Teachers' Day and PTA gatherings, our school has set up a PTA scholarship scheme which aims at encouraging some outstanding and talented students. Parents are enthusiastic in joining our school's outings and helping teachers to bring students to overseas study tours. They even work as judges in some competitions.

Educating students with spirit of Christ. Modest school culture, emphasis on students all-rounded, especially in moral development & participate ECA and social service.
