Evangel College is a DSS Co-ed secondary school located in Hong KongThe school was founded in 2006. The school is located in Sai Kung, and covers an area of approximately 14380 square meters. The supervisor/chairman of the school management committee is HO Wing Ip Ir.,And the principal is LO Wai Shing Vincent Mr. (MH, B.Sc., P.G.C.E., M.Ed.). The sponsoring body of Evangel College is The Association of Evangelical Free Churches of Hong Kong and is a Protestantism / Christianity school. The mission of the school: "To provide all-round and quality education based on Biblical truths, establishing proper life values for youth and bringing into play their potentialities so as to attain a balance in their spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic developments."School has Parent-Teacher Association,has student union,doesn't has IMC,has old students/alumni associations, the existence of these organizations promotes the cohesion and cooperation of the school community. Orientation Activities and Healthy Living
The school organizes S.1 Orientation Activities in August. New students will know their class teachers and classmates before the start of school year. The design of the activities aims at fostering relationship building between students and teachers and developing their sense of belonging towards the school.
The school emphasizes the health of the whole person of students. Through moral education and student activities inside and outside classrooms, the school makes every effort to help students develop healthy life-style, habits, interpersonal relationship, self-esteem and self-image, paving their ways towards healthy life in the future.

School's Major Concerns:
Pursue student-centred teaching and learning and develop students to conduct independent learning. Launch Life Value Education, educating students to pursue dreams, uphold correct values, make right choices and develop good character.
School Management Organisation:
To increase the transparency and accountability of the school organization, the membership of SMC comprises school managers appointed by SSB, a teacher representative, a parent representative, and an independent/community representative.

The school adopts English as the main medium of instruction; creates the language environment; and trains students to use English in the campus.

The school pursues professionalism in teaching: require subject committees to set clear essential learning targets; use target-oriented and psychologically appropriate teaching and learning materials; implement student-centred classroom teaching; nurture students into independent learners; assess students with diversified assessment modes and provide them with feedback; make use of stratified and progressive teaching, differentiated learning tasks as well as peer tutoring support to cope with learning diversity; and develop the capacity and habit of students to conduct self-directed learning.

Whole School Approach to Integrated Education:
The multi-disciplinary student support team formed by our educational psychologist, Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCO), teachers, social workers and teaching assistants is responsible for leading and mobilizing whole school’s effort on the development in catering for learners’ diversity. In catering for the special educational needs (SEN) of individual students, school has employed the 3-Tier intervention model which includes Tier 1: quality teaching as well as accommodation in assignment and assessment, Tier 2: pull out training programs on learning, behavioral & social adjustment etc. and Tier 3: individualized educational plan.
