The school premises were expanded with an addition of a new wing in September 2004. There are now 30 air-conditioned classrooms, each of which is network accessible and equipped with an overhead projector and a screen. Learning and Teaching Plan
Whole-school Language Policy:
Our school adopts mother-tongue as the main medium of instruction. However, we put a lot of effort to enhance the English proficiency of our students. Apart from regular lessons, we conduct activities, such as dramas, reading schemes, visiting the Disneyland, flea market, etc. from which our students will be provided with more learning opportunities in English. we have carried out extended learning activities for our S.1 and S.2 students. It is expected that our students can learn some topics of other subjects through English. Also, from 2019-20 onwards, the Chinese Language and Putonghua panels have started collaboration in curriculum planning and implementation. Certain contents of Chinese Language are incorporated in Putonghua lessons in order to enhance junior students’ Putonghua speaking skills and listening skills.
Learning and Teaching Strategies:
We emphasize both Chinese and English. We encourage our students to be active in learning and try to develop their life-long learning capacity. We believe that every student can achieve through our strategies.
We always implement curriculum reforms in accordance with the policies of the Education Bureau. In recent years, we have promoted blended learning and assessment literacy in various subjects. Our School became Jockey Club "Flipped Learning" Pilot School in 2021-22 to promote blended learning in and outside school.
National Security Education Committee was established in 2021 and our Assistant Principal is responsible for planning National Security Education through various subjects.
As for STEM education, the school has developed a number of school-based programmes and has also won multiple awards in STEM competitions. In recent years, a STEM Education Director has been appointed to lead our students to cooperate with universities and scientific research institutions to expand their horizons.

The Four Key Tasks, namely Reading to Learn, Information Technology for Interactive Learning, Project Learning, and Values Education, are integrated into the school based curriculum of all subjects.
Life Planning Education:
From S.1 onwards, talks and activities are held to help our students learn their own strengths and limitations, characteristics, interests, abilities, etc. This is the basis for our students to plan for their career lives. We also provide group counseling and individual counseling for our students to adjust their plans in different periods of time. Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity:
Students are classed according to abilities. To cater for diversity, schemes of work are tailored made according to needs and abilities. Assessments are designed at different levels with inclusion of the core curriculum accounting for a designated percentage. The Learning Support Team, together with the teaching assistant, designs a separate syllabus to accommodate students with special educational needs.
Whole School Approach to Integrated Education:
Our school adopts a whole-school approach to promote integrated education. The work is coordinated by our Special Educational Needs Coordinator. Team members include a Special Educational Needs Support Teacher, a Educational Phycologist, social workers, subject teachers and teaching assistants. We arrange teachers to enroll in integrated education-related courses so as to enhance their professional competence. Our school also makes good use of the Learning Support Grant and other resources to provide a diverse range of services for students with special educational needs, including social skills training groups, speech therapy, music therapy and art therapy. We add one more lesson after school on Mondays so as to carry out diversified learning activities from which students learning capacities can be enhanced. We also cater for students' learning diversity through curriculum design, diversified teaching strategies, stratified coursework, and assessment adjustments to enhance the learning effectiveness of our students. With the consent of our parents, we will collect the information from their previous schools in order to identify their special educational needs. We then can arrange appropriate support for them as soon as possible. Our teachers will also identify students who are suspected of having special educational needs. Parents will also be invited to participate in the regular student assessment meetings with our educational psychologist so as to develop individual education plans for students. We regularly review the effectiveness of the programmes and distribute summaries of support for students to parents. We also try to equip our parents with skills to take care of their children effectively.

Home-School Co-operation:
PTA meetings of various natures are held during the school year. PTA picnics and talks on fostering harmonious parent-child relationship are held regularly. Involvement of parents in school administration includes inviting PTA members to be on the Tender Approving Committee and to be volunteers in maintaining school discipline.
School Ethos:
Our school ethos is a spirit of simplicity and self-discipline. Being a caring school, the dual-class teacher system in S.1 to S.6 allows our teachers to take better care of our students beyond class time. Our work in student care has been highly praised by the Quality Assurance Team of the EDB. We frequently organise seminars and workshops to enable our teachers to keep pace with recent developments and to equip them well to foster students' academic and social development.
Life-wide Learning (including Five Essential Learning Experiences to be provided through Key Learning Areas, extra-curricular activities, co-curricular activities, etc.):
28 extra-curricular activities in 5 categories, namely Art and Artistry Clubs, Interest Groups, Uniform Teams, Sports Clubs and Religious Fellowship, are run to develop non-academic interests and to foster a sense of belonging among students.
