School Management Organisation:
Under the leadership of the IMC, there are three working groups, namely, Human Resources, Finance & Procurement, and Curriculum and Assessment Committees. The School Administration Committee chaired by the Principal and composed of senior teachers is leading the school development. The three Vice Principals respectively take charge of Academic & Studies, Learner Supports and Student Affairs domains. School work is shouldered by different KLA committees and functional groups. The school strives to nurture young leaders to carry on with the school missions.

The SSB IMC members came from political, business and education background with rich school management and administration experience. Parents, alumni and teachers also join hands in the development of the school.
School Green Policy:
Various programmes and activities are organised to convey the message of energy saving and environmental protection to students. The school has participated in the Green Schools 2.0 project and solar panels will be installed. We are launching an interdisciplinary STEAM project on climate change in junior forms to arose their awareness on environmental protection.

Learning and Teaching Plan
Whole-school Language Policy:
Apart from Chinese Language, Chinese History, Chinese Literature, other subjects are conducted with English as the medium of instruction. We have more than 10 teachers coming from overseas with English being their mother tongue. They work together with our local teachers to cultivate an English-rich environment for our students to practice English naturally.
Learning and Teaching Strategies:
1. Student-centred and inquiry-based pedagogies supplemented with interactive tools are adopted to enhance students’ engagement and higher order thinking skills.
2. Small group teaching and flexible grouping are implemented to cater for students’ diverse needs.
3. A variety of extended learning opportunities are provided for students to bolster their learning capability through co-curricular activities and self-directed learning.
School-based curriculum:
1. Electives: 3X. Students can choose 2 to 3 HKDSE electives (including Spanish Language), Applied Learning courses (including “Multimedia Storytelling” co-organized with HKBU) and joint-school network programmes.
2. Curriculum highlights: Adapted curriculums of Chinese Language and Chinese History for NCS students; Performing Arts (Junior Forms), Design and Technology(Junior Forms), Spanish language, IELTS (S.4-S.5) and enhancement programmes.
Development of the Four Key Tasks:
1. Moral and Civic Education: MCE is integrated into life education lessons, class teacher periods, and weekly and morning assemblies.
2. Reading to Learn: DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time in English lessons, daily morning reading, regular library activities and annual book week are central to student learning, fostering students to read across the curriculum.
3. Project Learning: A multi-disciplinary STEM project is undertaken in junior forms to enhance students’ integrative use of knowledge and skills in solving daily life problems.
4. Information Technology for Interactive Learning: The junior ICT curriculum is kept up to date and targeted at developing students’ information literacy. Various e-learning resources and tools are extensively used in learning and teaching to enhance teaching effectiveness and students’ self-directed learning.
Life Planning Education:
A series of life planning and careers experiential learning programmes are organized to help students to know and develop their interests and abilities, as well as to find their aspirations for further studies and careers. Activities include seminars on life planning, visits to enterprises and tertiary institutions, mock interviews and individual counselling services.
