An English Reading Scheme has been implemented. In junior forms, a vocabulary list of 50 to 70 words both in Chinese and English for each subject is provided for students. In some subjects, additional English questions are set and emphasis is put on writing practice.
3. Besides laying emphasis on students’ writing practice, our school encourages students to actively participate in Verse Speaking Competitions, Learning English Through Singing, telling stories in Putonghua, and broadcasting on campus radio to implement the biliterate and trilingual policy.
