School Green Policy:
Our school is dedicated to raising our staff and students' awareness of environmental protection by formulating green policies, reducing and recycling waste in daily life, and encouraging our members’ participation in educational activities. The green procurement policy is adopted. To reduce paper consumption, we promote double-sided copying and the use of electronic documents. Paper recycling bins are placed in school; used paper, ink cartridges and toner cartridges are recycled regularly. Air-conditioners are turned on only when the temperature reaches 25°C. Green equipment and appliances such as a water-saving system for all toilets on the school premises are in use. Moreover, our students have been actively taking part in environmental campaigns organized by green groups such as talks and "No Air-con Day".

Whole-school Language Policy:
Improve students’ English proficiency by adopting a whole-school approach to enriching the environment conducive to learning English.
Learning and Teaching Strategies:
Teaching approaches aim to motivate students and develop their study methods. Students are also provided with various learning opportunities and a favorable learning environment. The junior form places emphasis on the enhancement of language ability and thinking skills. Study skills are taught in class.
The flexible curriculum framework of the New Senior Secondary curriculum offers to students a wide range of subject combinations in order to cater for their needs. Apart from strengthening the curriculum of the core subjects and subject training, there is also a variety of OLE opportunities encouraging students to participate in the five areas of OLE, namely Moral and Civic Education, Community Service, Career-related Experiences, Aesthetic Development and Physical Development so as to equip them for their tertiary education. Also, we strive to develop students' interest in music, and learning to play musical instrument has become the core part in junior form music curriculum.
School-based curriculum:
1. Electives: 2X and 3X. To cater for learners’ needs, the New Senior Secondary curriculum offers several subjects for the students. They can choose their elective subjects according to their interests and abilities.

- To enhance junior secondary students’ understanding of the NSS elective subjects, Geography is offered in junior secondary education and S.3 Science is divided into Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- To widen students’ vision of the world, world history and cultural elements are incorporated into the Chinese History curriculum.
- To prepare students for studying Citizenship and Social Development, Life and Society is offered in junior secondary education.
Development of the Four Key Tasks:
National and Life Education: To promote moral values and a positive attitude, the junior forms in our school use the professional course Paths to Adulthood, which is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The course seeks to enhance holistic development by developing student abilities in all aspects. This is done by recognizing their existing abilities, enhancing their bonding with others, and helping them to develop positive beliefs and set clear goals.
The senior forms pursue similar goals by engaging in discussions about current events in the world after watching educational videos. We develop our school-based moral and civic education through the use of our campus TV, and every year we organize some cross-curricular learning activities strongly related to current events and issues such as the Tsunami, Avian Flu, WTO 6, Beijing Olympics, A Healthy Lifestyle, the Anti-Drug Campaign and elections in HK. For national education we organise an annual study tour to the motherland, visiting cities like Beijing, Nanjing, Xian, Jiangxi, Yunnan and the Yangtze River (the Three Gorges Project).
Life Planning Education:
Talks, workshops, university and worksite visits as well as individual counselling sessions are organized to cater for the developmental needs of students in different forms. With life-planning education implemented across all forms, it is hoped that students can overcome future challenges in life.
We endeavor to adopt a whole-person approach while inspiring our students to pursue life-long learning. Through life planning education, students can aspire to achieve their life goals.

Student Support
Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity:
Remedial teaching is practised in our school. Enhancement and enrichment classes are also organized after school and during holidays. Bridging courses are organized during summer holidays.
Whole School Approach to Integrated Education:
To better cater for students having special educational needs (SEN), a SEN Support Team (SENST) was established in our school.
With reference to the 3-Tier Intervention Model, students are provided with various levels of assistance according to the severity of their learning difficulties. For instance, Individual Education Plans (IEP) are devised to ensure particular students can receive additional learning and counselling support they need as recommended by medical specialists.
In addition, we believe that SEN students can develop their potential and become more confident and skillful in communication and socializing under professionals' suitable guidance. Extra manpower is allocated to the provision of regular after-class tuition.
Furthermore, services including speech therapy, music therapy and social skills training workshops offered by enhanced School-based Speech Therapy Service and external providers are made available on campus.
SENST also actively organizes a series of experiential activities to promote the value of respecting diversity to students. We hope to increase students' awareness to the school's inclusive culture.

Thanks to the efforts and commitment of our parent and teacher committee members, the PTA has successfully established strong cooperation between parents and teachers. There are a wide variety of activities like educational talks, workshops, interest group meetings and annual day trips specially designed for serving our mission: to develop every child's potential to a fuller extent by engaging and empowering families and teacher communities.

The school ethos aims to cultivate students' punctuality, diligence and obedience. We offer counseling services to foster students' growth.
