Whole-school Language Policy:
The school aims to foster students' bi-literacy and tri-lingualism. English-medium extended learning activities have been introduced in different subjects in junior forms. Various English activities have been arranged and sprinkled over the year and a NET teacher is responsible for classroom teaching. Various language arts activities and enrichment programs were organised to promote English learning environment. Putonghua is a compulsory subject. In order to enhance students’ interests in learning languages, holiday enhancement courses, Chinese and English extensive reading schemes, reading awards, self-access online Chinese and English reading programmes, Halloween functions, Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival, Debate Competition, writing to newspapers, writing contests, Chinese and English writing corpuses and School Newsletter have been introduced to students.
Learning and Teaching Strategies:
The school treasures pleasurable and interactive learning. Students' active learning attitude and critical thinking are enhanced through group discussions and presentations. Small-group tutorials and holiday remedial courses and regular assessments help to foster the effectiveness of learning. Visits, Field trips and exchange programmes have been organised for students to broaden their outlook, improve their communication capabilities and foster their self-management skills. 2. Curriculum highlights: The school curriculum unfurled with diversity, embracing the eight key learning areas to broaden students' horizons and develop various abilities and generic skills. In junior forms, the medium of instruction of some of the lesson time of several subjects will be changed to English so as to enhance students' English proficiency. Life and Society is a compulsory subject collaborating with World History, Chinese History, Geography and Moral Education for coordinating with the New Senior Secondary Education System and improving students' skills in project learning. School-based curriculum focusing on the enhancement of schemes and coordination with the New Senior Secondary Education System with the aim to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
Development of the Four Key Tasks:
(1) Learning from reading: To foster students' reading habit and broaden their outlook, various activities including silent reading session, reading awards, new books exhibitions, reading activities and writing contests from different organisations, students’ presentations during morning assemblies, Chinese reading sharing sessions, self-access online Chinese and English reading programmes, Chinese and English corpuses and School Newsletter are promoted.
(2) Utilization of Information Technology in interactive learning: Funded by wifi 900, the school purchased tablet PCs to supplement teaching. Funded by IT Innovation Lab in Secondary school, different courses will be organised to enhance the coding skills of students. The school premises are serviced by full internet coverage with STEM room & two computer rooms which provide convenience to students for searching information needed in projects and accessing the online learning programmes. Most of the classrooms are equipped with projectors, computers and visualizers. Most of the Junior form classrooms are equipped with the Interactive Whiteboard.
(3) Project learning: The school offers 'Project learning' in Secondary Three Life and Society. Students are studying in groups with the guidance of teachers. Outstanding projects will be recommended for inter-school competitions. Other forms and subjects are organizing cross-subject projects as assignments to enhance students' generic skills.
(4) Moral and Civic Education: Discipline, Counselling, Civic Education, Social Studies and Moral Education are given full attention. Morning assemblies, weekly assemblies, moral education seminars, group counseling and class teacher periods are offered to students. Together with the tailor-made materials, students' counseling activities, voluntary work, community services training programmes, Flag-raising ceremony, Blood Donation Day, Enhanced Smart Teen Project and leadership camp, students are encouraged to develop positive attitudes and values.

Our students are notably well-behaved. Notwithstanding, our school still places very strong emphasis on Discipline and Counseling. We have adopted a Whole School Approach, appointing all teachers to be class teachers. We integrate Discipline, Counseling, Voluntary Services, Civic Education, Social Studies and Moral Education into an entity. In Moral Education, messages are put across in morning assemblies, class teachers' time, seminars, small group sessions, weekly assemblies, the materials and activities devised by our teachers in Moral Education sessions, and in Social Study lessons. We received a gold award in Mozart 2022 China Europe International Music Festival International Piano Competition-Early Youth Group B. Winner of Grade 7 Silver Award at International Coding Elite Challenge 2022 CodeCombat Competition (Secondary Division). Bronze medalist in The 7th Asian Taekwondo Poomsae Championships (under 30 Male Team). At the 73rd Hong Kong School Speech Festival, we were honored to receive the First Runner up and obtained 8 Certificates of Merits in Chinese or Putonghua Speech. We were awarded with Second Runner up and a total number of 12 Certificates of Merits at the Hong Kong English Speech Festival. On the other hand, we got the Men's Junior Doubles Champion in Age-group Tennis Competitions in Sai Kung District, Southern District and Wan Chai District and Champion in Men's Junior Single in Wong Tai Sin District. We earned the Champion in Men's Junior Single in YMCA Tennis Tournament. In terms of athletics competition, we received the Men's 200m, the men's shot put in group C, the women's 100m, and the women's table tennis champion.
