Whole-school Language Policy:
Our school stresses importance of the language ability of students and puts a lot of resources in the development of their biliterate and trilingual talents. Our policy is to help students to become strong in English and excel in Chinese. Building on the strength of our students' excellent performance in extensive reading, Chinese Language and Chinese Literature, we have developed a school based Chinese Literature course in our junior form curriculum. This helps to enrich our junior form students' knowledge of Chinese literature, arouse their interest in learning Chinese and raise their Chinese standard. As for English learning, in addition to the Native English Teacher, we have two more NETs from Chatteris and a part time NET. In total, there are four NETs in our school helping organize English activities. Large scale whole school English activities are provided for students in each week and junior form students enjoy two English drama lessons per week this year.

Learning and Teaching Strategies:
It is our mission to provide quality whole person education which has its roots firmly grounded in Christian values. Through multifarious class building activities, we foster positive values to help students’ in their personal, spiritual and social development. We focus on helping them develop a sense of responsibility and a serving spirit.
Our school encourages students to learn through reading, which in turn strengthens their language foundation. We have a gifted education program which helps our best students to develop their potential, and set up after-school tutorial lessons to improve the academic performance of weaker students.

School-based curriculum:
1. Electives: 2X and 3X. Subjects included: Business, Accounting & Financial Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Chinese History, Visual Arts, Tourism & Hospitality Studies, Information & Communication Technology, Economics, Geography, Ethics and Religious Studies. Some of these subjects adopt English as medium of instruction by groups. Applied Learning courses are offered.
2. Curriculum highlights: A Life and Society curriculum is provided for junior forms. For S.3 students, they are exposed to Chinese literature selected by our own teachers so as to develop their interest and language ability. Students’ critical thinking skills and Chinese communication skills are trained to cater for the requirements of Chinese and Citizenship & Social Development in the NSS curriculum.

Development of the Four Key Tasks:
Learning and Teaching: We put great emphasis on the design of quality lessons to enhance students’ motivation to learn. Through interactive activities and self-regulated learning, students’ participation in class and interest in learning are heightened. We adopt OECD Learning compass and train students to charter their own learning path.
Students' Development: To review and refine the arrangements of co-curricular activities so as to cater for students' changing needs by providing them with a balanced, holistic education. To encourage students to learn and understand the meaning of life through active participation in organized service activities. It is hoped that our students would learn the value of "To Serve and Not to be Served" through such community engagement. A positive relationship amongst students, their families and our school is built up through all these learning opportunities.
Staff Professional Development: The school invests on systematic and organized staff professional development that equips teachers with the necessary skills and knowhow that caters for school development. To ensure the sustainable development of our staff, succession preparation and plans are drawn up. Teachers are encouraged to engage in more professional exchanges with outside organizations such as serve as public examination markers, participate in professional support groups and share our best practices with our colleagues.

Life Planning Education:
We aim to better prepare our students in making informed and responsible choices in their life and planning by experiencing a variety of career-related learning activities. Our school helps junior form students to set goals at an early stage and help them revisit and revise their goals in more concrete ways in senior forms. Each form enjoys the provision of a career guidance counselling teacher who is willing to provide individualized service to students who need help. Whole school and school based career counselling activities are held throughout the year to help students reflect and plan for their future. Talks, seminars, visits are arranged. Students have the chance to visit universities and working organizations to enhance their exposure and widen their horizons. Our school also supports students who are interested in studying the Applied Learning courses. Information on academic and career plans is disseminated through newsletters, course pamphlets, emails and social media.
