All subjects; students from kindergarten to post-secondary
I graduated from Simon Fraser University in Canada with a BA degree and a cert. in Legal Studies. I have over seven years of tutoring experiences. The following are areas that I have tutoring experiences in: Curriculums: Primary Years Program (PYP) Middle Year Program (MYP) General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Advance Placement (AP) International Baccalaureate (IB) A/AS-Level Hong Kong Local Primary and Secondary Curriculums Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Entrance Exams: TOEFL IELTS SAT GRE GMAT SSAT ACT MCAT LSAT I never agreed on the "one size fits all" theory, especially in terms of teaching. I believe that each student is unique in their own ways. For instance, they have their own ways of thinking and understanding materials. Thus, I will structure my teaching method according to the needs of each student so that they can learn in the most effective way. Learning should be fun and enjoyable, and get good grades. My approach of teaching expands students' horizons, thereby increasing their creativity. Thus, in addition to improving their grades, they should realize their potentials as well.
